Caramelo líquido a gosto
Pineapple Moist Cake
A tropical touch in every bite — this pineapple cake is soft, buttery, and perfectly moist, with the creamy hint of coconut milk. A slice of sunshine to share with those you love.
Ingredients:
(for one delicious cake)
300 g sugar
300 g butter
6 eggs, at room temperature
300 g flour
1 tsp baking powder
A pinch of coarse salt
200 ml coconut milk
Liquid caramel, to taste
6 to 8 pineapple slices
Preparation:
Start with the batter: Beat the sugar with the butter until creamy. Add the pinch of salt.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually fold in the sifted flour mixed with baking powder.
Add the coconut milk and beat again until smooth. Set aside.
Prepare the tin: Grease a ring cake tin with butter and dust with flour.
Pour some liquid caramel into the base of the tin, letting it drip naturally.
Arrange the pineapple slices on top of the caramel.
Pour in the batter and smooth the top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ºC (350 ºF) for about 35 minutes. Check with a skewer — it should come out clean.
Let it cool slightly, then carefully turn out onto a serving plate.
Serve with a smile — and maybe a scoop of ice cream.
Tips & Suggestions
Fresh pineapple gives an extra tangy flavor.
For an extra-moist texture, drizzle a little pineapple syrup over the cake after unmolding.
Pairs wonderfully with a scoop of vanilla or coconut ice cream.
Friendly tip: keep a slice for the next day — it gets even better!
